European Flights
Long Haul Flights
Reaching Lanzarote with long-haul flights usually means you’ll have to stop at a larger European airport first, with Madrid and Barcelona being the best connected among the many airports with direct flights to the island.
Renting a Car
for the maximum of flexibility
Renting a Car
When renting a car, it's vital that you check the terms & conditions, as most rental companies try to sneak in extra fees. Check the included kilometers and what payment options are available; having the wrong card can cost you dearly. Does your credit card's insurance policy include rental car insurance? It might. Lastly, if you return the car at an unattended parking/office, ALWAYS take several photos of the parked car. This way you protect yourself from damage fraud.

Taking a Taxi
Taking a Taxi
The most comfortable way to get to your accommodation is to take a taxi. As the airport is very close to Puerto del Carmen, you'll be at your island "home" in no time. Expect a 15 min drive that will cost you roughly €17, including a small tip if you are happy with their driving skills.
If you are attending a camp during peak season, we recommend pre-booking a taxi, as the capacity is very limited. You could get stuck waiting for hours if you are unlucky.
